at McNicholas Miniatures is to use miniature therapy horses to enhance the quality of life of those we serve in the Denver Metro area and Colorado communities. Individuals of all ages and limitations with physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral disabilities find comfort, empowerment, self-esteem, unconditional love, strength, therapeutic touch interaction & value while working with the miniature horses. Also, to educate the general public on the mental health benefits of visiting miniature horse pet therapy.
McNicholas Miniature Therapy Horses is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides mobile therapeutic benefits to many Colorado facilities. We visit local hospitals, assisted living and nursing homes and local schools weekly.
Through our equine therapy activities and visits, we promote a greater physical, mental and emotional well-being to children and adults of all ages.
